the way the camera moves isn't the best and controls not the best otherwise i would like to see more
Created in 72hrs for the minijam 56, with the theme sky and the restriction to use two random words Warzone and Doughnut.
You wouldn't eat a dirty doughnut, but have you ever considered the doughnut's feelings?
In this game, you play as Dough the donut, and your purpose is being delicious. Reaching paradise (that perfect cup of Joe) can be a rough, hairy road. Avoid getting dirty (or hide your disgustingness) on your way to edibility, and go dunk yourself!
This project was not sponsored by Dunkin' Donuts.
WASD/Arrows for movement, space for jump.
Character controller based on Mix and Jam's implementation of Celeste-like controls.

It's very hard to move around and if you just changed the moving controls then I would rate this game 10/10.
I really like the idea behind this and the visual and audio parts of the game look great but the controls broke me! I found wall jumping needlessly fiddly (which I am blaming a lot on myself as well). I still enjoyed it but it stressed me the hell out!
(This is the fourth game on the video)
Cool! Really like the art + music, the way your doughnut stretches when you jump is really good. And the animations for getting hit / picking up nice stuff are really slick. Well done!
The movement mechanics are a little bit sticky but they work and just need some tweaking.
Love the art, love the concept, the platforming is average but the art OH MY GOD THE ART. I could stare at this weird little doughnut all day.
first of all I have to say that the art is very nice.
Gameplay is also very nice. The only thing i would change is that you can jump up a wall almost indefinitly by just holding right or left and up while jumping against the Wall.
Overall a very nice and complete experience. I enjoyed it.
The art and concept are absolutely lovely! Avoiding trash thats stuck on walls is almost impossible as the jumping/wall-jumping needs some work. This is a good proof of concept that I could see having tons of levels. Way to go!
